Anyone have one of these at a lowish price? it is the one with the blue writing on the cover and pictures of both the three thousand five and NADA 3500S?

Hi Mike.
Got a feeling there is a down-loadable version on federal rovers site, not got one myself but have the parts book which covers series 1 v8 and right hand drive NADAS which were never made ( only 2 RHD were made for rover chiefs as far as i know)
Got mine from RPS or voking 2000 as he is called on e bay, he did a few copies.
Have got a old green non gen workshop manual called auto books i think, which covers NADA and series 1 and sure it has wiring diagrams.
Regards,
Clive.

Clive,

Six or seven RHD NADAs were made. Two survive, but we do know the details of a third, so are looking into that.

Of the two confirmed survivors, one is roadworthy and in the Bristol area, the other is a restoration job and is in my garage.

I'll have a look on the Federal site, I just updated my browser and it wouldn't work before so hopefully it will now! It took me years to realise that the air con has the relay and overload protection on one side of the centre console and the power windows on the other as i only received ones side worth and the pictures are mirror image in the manual, as they would be. Chris does the nada chassis no start with 430, 431 or 432 just out of interest??

Nearly right Chris! Car is an Export CKD, Chassis No. is 4530023E Engine Number is 42526111C out of Chassis No. 45300380A which has been reduced to components (one of which is the left front guard with the number on it...). I think you may already have the earlier number from sometime in the eighties when the car was still alive.

What? You asked what does the NADA chassis start with, and the correct answer is 433.

453 is an export V8, not a NADA.

Oops i should have read my own post more carefully. Mine (Export CKD) is 453...yours I presume would be one of two 433 then? I wonder what the chassis numbers would have been for the P76 (4.4ltr) engined cars were or if they are just legend...
