My '67 TC has a plate in the passenger side inner wing just by the bonnet hinge, it's only tacked on though and the numbers are feint.

Your sill might have only been tacked on, but they're bigger tacks than the ones holding my V8's sill together.

Sure there wasn't one tacked on there but once again I will take another look.
And I must agree my tacks are bigger than yours. :)

Just a small non photo update.
Spent my lunchtimes at work last week cleaning up and rebuilding my rear calipers (once finding a decent unscored pair from the ones I have) Then on Saturday fitted them all to the diff from the white sc that I broke up and have now fitted the diff complete with refurbed brakes and hoses into sgn.
Sorry I didn't get any pics but will try and snap a couple next time (still got to connect driveshats and handbrake cable)

You may notice my last post was in 2014, shortly after i sold it to a friend of mine and thats where it stood since ( in a garage i must add)
So today what happened is i bought it back again so at some point after ive finished my v8 i will move back on to it.
I must be mad.

Hopefully not another 10 years. 20210705_134131.jpg

Have looked over again and to do it properly needs inner and outer sills, d post bottom repairs and a boot floor which I have.
Will get the rest ordered up.

Like the patina on that car it looks and (as much as it can from a picture) feels like cars on the road when I was a kid.
I have been contemplating whether to paint or retain the patina but the roof is quite rough.
A decision for another day.
