1965 Rover 2000 "resto" mod.

Looking like I'm going to sell up which will please some of you. ;)

Nothing wrong with the car just plans have changed, going to start up a small business venture to supplement my income and unlikely to have money to spend on a project car for a bit. a little capital to help get going wont hurt either so rather than leave the car parked up for a couple of years I'll stick some extra cash on to try and cover what I spent and get her up for sale as soon as I can get some decent photos.

If anyone here is interested and wants to get in before the advert, wave two and half grand at me and you can drive her away, I'll be chancing my arm for more than that in the adverts but happy for one of you lot to give it a home for a bit less. I paid 2k for her from ebay so i'm not trying to flip the car and make a quick profit, just want to cover my costs, if I cant i'll have to find a barn to stash her in. :)

Good luck with your new venture! My wife and I started a company on the side last year and it's great fun. I do understand your feelings on the car. It's very easy for us to say it's a rare model but if someone isn't willing to swap or buy it from you it can feel rather 'fuddy duddy' of us.

Thanks, I don't take offence, when you post on a public forum you invite criticism and everyone has their own opinion. Sometimes I listen and sometimes I carry on regardless but it rarely gives me the hump. :)

She's a lovely car and worth that any day of the week.

Did she pass an MoT? Where are you located?
