We have got a mother and father of an oil leak from the back of our motor. Seems to be coming out of the bell housing drain, so assume rear seal? I recall reading on here somewhere that worn mains can compound the leak as well? Notice in the gasket set, there is a half moon cork or similar seal...

Just wondered what the consensus of opinion was on removing the auto gearbox from a P6, rather than the engine and box as a lump. We have access to a lift and transmission jack, so getting it out is not an issue. Is the juice worth the squeeze, or is it easier to remove the lump? Cheers, Rob

My super old Haynes book which came with the car does not have wiring diagrams for alternator cars. Sounds about right? Anyone know where I can get hold of one? Our car is 1971 2000SC. Got a couple of minor niggles and a diagram would be very useful.
