I never had a Scalextric as a kid and just bought my first one a used but complete Metro Challenge and bought some extra barriers cars Tyres etc and on the look out locally for track etc , i was quite surprised out of the hundreds of cars available there's no P6 and not even come across a resin...

I gave mine a good scrub to get all the grime off it and used the Auto Glym it gives it a nice shine and a waxy feel to it that hopefully keeps the dirt out the grain .

I got a electric fuel pump kit from Wadhams about 4 years years ago , easy enough to fit and works perfectly.

The rear overider on my p6b was missing though managed to buy one off fleabay but there was no rubbers between the overider and the bumper having been in scooters for some 40 years i found that a Lambretta GP horncover rubber does the job .

Made one from some hose i had after the original one looked to have been made from liquorice , super glued it into the knob then hot glued it on the the shifter .

Hi all what is the inside diameter of the servo vacuum hose from the manifold also the shorter smaller one off a 1974 P6b they look the original ones so i want to replace them before they fail . Many thanks.

Hi , got a friend of mine to take the seat out as i could'nt and it was easy enough to undo the locking screw in the nut then turn it clockwise to the next position then put the locking screw back in and job done . Many thanks for the diagram and all of your comments on the matter.
