    Rust protection?

Hi, this may be a ridiculous question but is there anything I can protect the inside of my new engine side plates with or will it just get stripped off by hot antifreeze and spread into cooling system and block up all the small water ways ?

Hello, does anyone with a parts book know what Vandervell VP967 bearings are for? I can’t find any information online at all. Thanks Steve.

    2200TC shells.

Hello, the strip down is cracking on with the 2200. Today we took the crank out and it has become apparent that I need new main bearing and big end shells. These need to be standard ones. Without breaking the fast dwindling budget I have for this rebuild, where can I get hold of these items? Any...

Hi, I am looking to buy a P6 Rover engine for my old Land Rover. My 80" is an old (and still a bit bent) comp trailler. It is my daily driver and gets used a lot for family holidays, camping, carrying wood and Euroleafing (adventures on the continent). It has a 200Tdi engine at the moment that...

    Hello.

Hello, I do not own a Rover (don't shoot!) but I do own a 1950 Land Rover. In the future I am planning an engine change from 200 Tdi thats installed at the moment to a classic four pot Rover unit. I thought this would be a great place to gain some information (not knowing a lot about these...
