    Exhaust studs and loctite?

You see them for sale on ebay from time to time so you could get a new pair. I had the same trouble getting my old studs out so took the manifolds down to my local engineering shop, went back the day after and the bloke said oh the came out quite easily - I suspect he used oxy on them.

Mysterious Hole in the Base Unit

There is meant to be a threaded rod fitted there if I remember, srews into a captive nut on the decker and then two nuts to adjust the height of the decker, the 2nd nut to lock the fitting into position in the hole you have photographed. Around the two adjusting nuts are a couple of metal...

    Rear disc retaining bolts

Even better than a six points is a Hex socket which has flat sides so even less chance of the corners being chewed, I went and bought one just for that very job, oh and a breaker bar to go with it

    Rear seat springs

You can boost the seat springs by getting some firm seat foam from your local market or upholsterer. I got a sheet about an inch thick and cut it into strips and then slotted each strip between the springs, I put about three strips deep in four rows - it did make the seat more comfortable to...

    bleeding rear brake

The amount of brake fluid coming out per foot peddle movement should be the same. However it is difficult to open the rear bleed nipple, so if it isn't fully open then the fluid coming out will be less ( as the peddle movement could be moving the other brakes ) I slacken off the nipple with a...

How to put back window winder retaining clips???

To get the handles off you don't pull the spring off, but do the opposite push the spring further on. Sounds daft but with the shape of the spring it is the area that forms the top of the U shape that holds the handles on by push the spring further on you push the U to open up. Try this with...

    2200SC, unusual noise

Heard some thing similar on a Ford V4 back in the 70's which was a blown head gasket, compression forcing air out of the piston made a whistling sound, the gasket had gone on the outside, although sounds like it could be leaking into the crank. A compression test would rule this out.

    Eezibleed

I have used one several times, they are good at clearing air locks from systems where the pipe has a high bend likely to trap air, say over a rear axle. There used to be extra kits with alternative caps available. You usually connect it to a spare tyre, but if its got 30psi in it fluid will...

    Overdrive for 4 speed 2000SC?

The early P4 overdrive cars had EP90 specified as the oil, this was later changed to 20/50 as far as I am aware there is no difference to the gear box or overdrive spec.

    Foldable roof - problems ? Trouble ? Cost ?

Another option is to visit a scrap yard and find a car from the 80's or 90's and use the steel sliding roof. Rover 214 or similar would be OK Benefit of the open air at low speeds but without the wind noise at high speeds.

    Foldable roof - problems ? Trouble ? Cost ?

Presume you mean a webasto sun roof ? No real problems, the fabric lasts 30 years and then needs replacing. The main draw back is wind noise at high speed say above 60mph / 100kph
