Thanks Harvey, i will get one of these and sort it, By the way, it turns out i had the BW65 box and had to get the cotton reel type mount. Its sorted now, so now i have that BW35 gearbox mount and bracket available if you know anyone i will pass it on for the same price. Many thanks again.

The car was registered in july 73, and comes without powersteering, not sure whether the box has been changed as i dont have much history with the car.

I have water getting into the drivers footwell! need to sort it quickly as i dont want my floor rotting from the inside out, its hard enough keeping these safe from rotting on the outside in. Can anyone tell me if there is a common cause for this area of water ingress? Thanks.

Yes, i believe the gearbox has been changed at sometime. Alas, no power steering :( ive only had it a few weeks and i have arms like Popeye already. I will consider converting to power, not sure how complicated or expensive?

Thanks for your input Ron, i will now rethink the cherrybomb as i dont want a raspy sound. I suppose the sound i am looking for is a more of a deeper v8 roar with a little more volume than standard. I am thinking maybe the straight through to replace the rear resonator is the way to go.
