On ebay tonight I am listing mt Tremec 5 speed and rebuilt 3.5. Well, here is an unusual combination for you. A rebuilt Rover 3.5 V8 with a Ford Mustang T45 Tremec 5 speed. Selling the whole lot as one. As many people know, the SD1 box is OK, but will not handle over 400 bhp out of the box...

Well, somebody had to give it a go. Rover and Mustang both 10.5 inch clutch plate. Tremec good for at least 400bhp. Made a mistake woth the Rover bellhousing, so will buy another off ebay - 15 quid, Should be a very butch setup when completed.

Just bought the above, Range Rover engine, I guess, anyway need help with ecu info. Has it got to be exactly the original fitment, or can you use other models, maybe off a 4.6 or whatever. If it affects anything, looking to throw on a rear mounted turbo as well. All help appreciated. Thanks.

behind the later 4.6 V8 as used in the 4 wheel drive brigade. Often an auto and sometimes a manual, but always with a huge gearbox with transfer case attached. Basically, can I find a good 5 or 6 speed to go behind a 4.6 ??

Heard a rumour of somebody using a Merc 6 speed van gearbox behind a V8, maybe with a specially made bellhousing. Anybody know about this or any other 6 speed out of something recent ?
