Of course it would give improvement your increasing the bore size :lol: Anyway that aside My car is an 1968 2000 sc I have a 2000tc head and cam and even the dizzy I will also be fitting 2200tc carbs. The later flat top /2200 Pistons give a smoother feel to the engine and will increase...

Like I said above mate in bolt the carb ;-)

Try un bolting the carb and look in the inlet it may be the carb sandwich plates tube has come loose? If so throw it away and put the carb back on :-) make sure there's no metal particals sitting in there first though.

I need to get one so I can replicate my series 1 :-)

I always find the two track rod ends to be stiff whenever having a p6 with heavy steering, I have just purchased two new ones for mine.
