    Jensen Rostyles on a P6b?

Tyres are 205/70/R15. If I keep the wheels I'll be going to a 195/50 or 60 profile tyre.

    Jensen Rostyles on a P6b?

Nope, not interested in the GKN alloy wheels off a Jensen, I'm interested in the Jensen MkII Rostyles.

    Jensen Rostyles on a P6b?

Hi gang, Do 15in Jensen Rostyles fit on a P6b? I know that the GKN alloy wheels do but in my trawling through the web, I can only find p6b's on p5b Rostyles, so I'm assuming they will fit, but it may not be ideal. Apparently they are 15x5.5in on MkI Interceptors and then 15x6in on MkII's.

Rubber moulding at the base of the rear windscreen

Just a heads up, I bought a Scotts Auto rubber seal and it did not fit well. I know Scotts sold a lot of his stuff to the UK so you may end up with the same problem as me if Winns' got theirs from Scotts.

    Upgraded swaybar swap

^ that's not great to hear. Do you have a photo of your version 2 bar end so I can get mine machined the same? Once the W58 gearbox and jag rear end go in I plan on doing track days.

Custom Anti Roll Bar- Cheap opportunity!

So I was wrong, it has actually reduced body roll by a lot. It was me not realising that I was taking corners faster. Peter ZRH has also raised a thought - it's highlighted that after I had the idler steering box changed over, I have what sounds like a plastic rubbing together sound, almost...

    Upgraded swaybar swap

Decided to do a quick write up and picture dump of how I swapped over to a larger swaybar on my p6b. (plus a few niggles that I found). 1. Car with front wheels up in the air. Luckily I had access to a hoist which then has a sub hoist underneath it, so I was able to get the car up in the air...

Custom Anti Roll Bar- Cheap opportunity!

They're King Springs in the rear and I'm guessing from the car's previous life (towing a 6x4 trailer full of firewood) that yes, they are heavy duty. It doesn't have the saggy bum that a lot of tired p6s seem to have.

    The inheiritance. 1976 P6b

So much time has passed and still so little love given to Mr Brown. Finally got around to installing my Denis Trigg/Rover Car Club of Aust. 22mm roll bar. Has made a difference in terms of body roll, but not understeer. Still feels very floaty. I took photos so I'll do a write up when I can get...

Custom Anti Roll Bar- Cheap opportunity!

I just installed my Denis Trigg roll bar (24mm?) and although the understeer is still there, the body roll has been reduced. Not a huge reduction, but I no longer feel like I'm about to fall out of the drivers seat like I did before. I also have Koni's front and rear set to "Ron" spec (he told...

Coolby. If you find it in the next few days, great! if not, I need windscreen seals as well so I'll get it through Mark Grey. :)

Cue bush jokes. Saturday Smut... (BW65 sloppy shifter)

Had the problem for a little while, but in a nutshell the shifter on my BW65 box'd car is very loose and there is a lot of "slop" between where the shifter sits for different gears. We had the car up on the hoist and couldn't see anything wrong, so I think that part number 571933 has probably...

Australians. Posted on the Facebook group

Discussed a bit tonight at the RCCA meeting. Sadly some cars have already been crushed apparently (non running spare parts cars I hope).

129 Rovers for sale in one auction

Have to remember, in Australia the amount of estates that are here could be counted on one hand with fingers to spare. We simply didn't get the oddball or rare cars that are in Europe. I'm interested in one of the p5bs and manual p6bs. I might make the trip up.

4.6 engine swap parts list. (plus Supra W58 gearbox)

If I go custom grind I'd go for something with a bit more of "everything". :) I'd like to try and use mostly factory pieces but have everything working in sync, so ported heads, matched cam and rockers/lifters etc

4.6 engine swap parts list. (plus Supra W58 gearbox)

Thanks Scott and Ron. Ron: Cam - I think it's Wade that's gone out of business, but I have Desktop Dyno somewhere on a usb (or god forbid a floppy disc! hehe). I was going to plug in everything but Cam specs (leave that for last), then look at different cams and valve gear on offer. Ideally I'd...

4.6 engine swap parts list. (plus Supra W58 gearbox)

Cool. Cheers Peter. Edit. I'll also put in a better fuel pump, possibly aluminium lines to replace the nylon ones and use one charcoal cannister instead of 2.

4.6 engine swap parts list. (plus Supra W58 gearbox)

Hi all, I've scoured differnet forums and book of faces and I thought I'd make a list of everything that I'll need to swap in a 4.6 into my p6b. Ron and others, can you chime in with your experiences and thoughts on what I'll need? Engine: 4.6 block - top hat linered heads - I have SD1 heads...

Aussie members: Swap to a Falcon/Bosch alternator?

So I ended up having a chat with some very bright electrical guys from the Uni I used to work with over a pint and problem sorted. Can either run brown/white wires to charging point from alternator, no problem. Ammeter will work. Just need to be careful that the alternator doesn't put out over...

Aussie members: Swap to a Falcon/Bosch alternator?

So some people have said to bypass the ammeter completely, or to have it converted to a volt meter (but obviously keep the ammeter face to look factory. Can I leave the two ammeter wires unplugged, then run a wire from the back of the Bosch alternator to the battery? I'm thinking this is...
