Series 1 Seat Belt Hooks

Hi, just joined the forum which I intended to do for a long time now. I've just bought a great Series 1 2000 previously owned by a former member who passed away a few years back. He cared for the car very well and now I intend to do the same and use the car as a daily driver. I'm sorting the small things as the car has pretty much everything else done thankfully. The brakes do need looking at due to standing but in the meantime does anyone have a part number for Irviin seat belt hooks please, or at least a photo of them? Many thanks in advance.

Shameless self promotion alert! I own Additive Restoration. Also, I believe these might be the later Series I style seatbelt clips, but maybe someone with better knowledge might be able to confirm?

Seat Belt Hooks for the Rover P6
The remaining hook on the passenger side had the top sheared off, it is white, very brittle plastic, I was intending to make a couple from brushed aluminium for they are now obsolete, I'd be guessing on the non existing top part though....

These were modeled on a 1969 NADA 2000TC (mine). And we’re originally a mid grey. These are printed nylon and dyed to match. I’ve had mine on my car for 7 years now without issues.

Ah OK, I will continue to search on the shape, I'm halfway there for now!

There have been some threads on these many years ago, although they don't seem to be accessible now.

I did exactly what you're proposing & came up with these:

I didn't give them a brushed finish & slightly kinked them in the middle to replicate the original shape & give a bit of strength. They've been excellent since I did them about 14 years ago :)

They look the part, I might have a rethink as my aluminium might be a bit too thick to get a decent bend in.......

I'm going to fit static belts in the rear, I've seen a few threads on this but ultimately which brand of statics would complement the S1 interior the most? Shiny clasps etc......

Quick Fit SBS Ltd were very helpful, thanks for the link, I've put in an order. I think I caught the guy on the last link at a bad time or maybe he was just too busy to talk.

Make sure it hasn't fallen down an obscure crevice in the car. I've only seen one odd emblem for sale before (quite recently) & these belts command pretty high prices now.

BTW, you can use the plastic coat hooks to replace the seat belt hooks. They do the job nicely.

Referring to the front Irvin statics, it was suggested that I change them, partly because of the snap fit on the B post, is this something to consider, they seem sound enough to me, in fact they are in great condition?
