Replacing your Rover

dream cars are not always practical or efficient etc. I wasn't allowed to buy a used Jensen interceptor (£4K) many years ago as 'boss' wasn't keen on having such a large and petrol thirsty car around .plus subject to car tax and insurance she was right really. A black car. drivers window didnt always go fully up and slight dent in one rear panel with a few scratch marks.. a lady owner ( true) to boot! lottery win I'd def go get one in decent order. classic cars are to me about joy of driving and owning one. head Turning and comments always make my wife's ego preen itself. plus we found social side is briallint with car meets. supper evenings .drives. shows etc and club dinners are also very enjoyable. I don't think you get that in your standard 'modern car' unless its something like a Ferrari etc as to long term ..we may all be forced to run around in hybrids or electric anyway soon. Not sure I want to have my rover converted but never say never. I won't say no for example to having fuel injection fitted ..even a catalytic exhaust .sadly out of my reach but who knows.. maybe that lottery ticket...
