Starter motor?

Well I'm ticked off at the old gal. Again the name LUCAS is invoked in rage. Starter motor this time, a week before a major planned run. Do starters from landy's fit p6b's at all?

Check the thread about flywheels and starters - I believe LR starters have solenoids at the wrong angle.

Hi, Looking at the starter from the front of the engine, car starters (P6b and SD1) have the solenoid in the 6 o/clock position and the LR starters are in the 9 o/clock position. There's a clearance issue with front suspension bottom link mountings.
