No's 47, 49 & 50. Mainly 49 which is the collared nut:

An exhaust manifold stud can be used & a tab washer made or more likely a spring washer used. And a very knowledgable fellow of all our aquaintance has provided the dimensions to make the nut. But if anyone has the original items to spare it will save a minimal amount of hassle. Indeed, one of you talented fellows may even be able to knock up a nut or three yourself.
Let me know if you can help in the form of supply or manufacture. I thank yew.

I seem to remember from when I swapped out my steering for PAS that I had to use a special bolt which was threaded at either end, but not in the middle, and a very thin nut that just fit in the little gap under the steering box. I don't remember it having had a collar though. I dimly recall it having looked like the illustration from the parts book you've posted. Thin and flat. A decade ago now though so I'm probably wrong.

Ah, thanks very much.

Following the information supplied by Harvey for the nut I churned out these tonight and the extractor works a treat too. Although I deviated slightly instead of 3/4" A/F on the nut head, I used a A/F 15/16 UNF bolt head and shank as the start for the special nut, also a UNF fine thread on the extractor itself which I believe is better than a coarse thread for this purpose.

Would you possibly be interested in churning out another special nut for me with whichever thread you think best? For suitable recompense of course. ;)

I just had a look around and can’t find anymore 15/16” A/F bolt heads, perhaps a 24mm A/F bolt head would work but I don’t have either to sample and confirm if the bolt shaft would be suitable and have a diameter of 0.625” or more to turn it down?
