Evening all, I have acquired 2 (1 white ex police V8 S manual and 1 red V8 auto) projects over the last 12 months so I am sure I will be around pestering with questions and supplying plenty of photo updates.
Any input on what to look out for along the way is very welcome, I look forward to hearing your views, suggestions and hopefully plenty of tips to hopefully get one of them on the road but July.
Here are some pics of where I am upto.IMG-20181215-WA0313.jpgFB_IMG_1579548042103.jpg

Welcome.
Looking at your under side pics, you may wish to check the condition of the De Dion elbows very carefully. If you remove the upper and lower arms you can then inspect inside the elbow looking for corrosion. The rot is hard to see otherwise, and there does appear to be a bit of tin worm active in places.

The white one is solid on the elbows but I will be looking to reinforce them along with the lower arms and the diff carrier, the red one was primarily bought to use as a parts car but other than some sill work appears to be very solid. If the red one does go back on the road I will also take the belt and braces approach with that too buddy so thanks for your advice
As I have started with the white one, I will be going back to bare metal so I can see what is hiding and what possible bodged have been covered up with the dreaded underseal!
