Inhibitor switch again?

I've just had my P6 V8 off the road for a while as I was sorting the brakes....again. I also looked at why the reversing lights didn't work, checking connection on the inhibitor switch. Now it won't start at all. Nothing, not even a click. Everything else works with the ignition on, but it's like trying to start it in gear. Inhibitor switch? It's BW65 box so it's the expensive plastic switch!!
Any ideas? is it dead or can it be adjusted?
Thanks

BW65 switches aren't adjustable.
If you've been doing the brakes and have removed the reservoir cap, make sure you haven't dislodged the earth wire for the starter relay.
If that's OK all you can do with the inhibitor switch is to use a test lamp to make sure it's working as it should.

Hello again. I found the trouble. The starter relay earth had suddenly stopped being an earth! A new earth to somewhere else and the car's running again. Thanks for the advice. John
