pressure build up

hi all, I thought I had read here in a post but cant find it, a way to build up oil pressure first before starting the RV8 up which has been sitting for a few months, not going.
Can anyone tell me the easiest and or best way to get some pressure up or oil up to the top end before ignition?
Thank you Karl

I believe a popular method is to spin-up the oil pump with an electric drill but obviously this requires some dismantling and is usually done only on a cam change. I guess you can mnaually oil the rockers.

If it's only a few months I would be tempted to take the plugs out and spin it over for 5 seconds or so. If the oil light goes out during the 5 seconds, give it another spin for 20 seconds or so and then check to see if any oil has come out of the rocker shaft.

If the oil light doesn't go out very quickly, then whip the dizzy out and spin the oil pump with a battery drill until you get some pressure.
