dash top

There is a NZ company that will reskin yours . Classic car mag will have their advert . Sorry I be of more use

ok cool ive got a few of those mags so ill have a look
Have just repined a lever on my heater as it didn't work and put in new foam to seal flaps ,painted the top.
Been busy, making progress, holiday almost over back to work tomorrow..oh well

The company that reskins is based in Auckland, if you search back in the threads you will see I have provided their adress and photos of suitable P6 dash top vinyl that they have in stock (very close but not identicle).

Good luck with TM, I did manage to find an uncracked one on TM but they are rarer than fresh Moa shit due to the incredibly high UV in New Zealand

wonderful reading thanks.
So some options to think about , ido have a permatex vinyl repair kit which i might try. Have it reskinned or covered mmmm.

I had my dashtop recovered in trim colour matched vinyl by a local guy. If you are interested I can supply his details.

Thanks Guys.
Keith, that's something i hadn't thought of.
I will think on that and get back to you if i decide to go that way cheers

hi again please can someone tell me on the ends of my dash top (where the meet up with the pillars) there is a clip or bracket with a hole in it on each side.
Do they screw to the pillars to fix the ends or not?
If they are supposed to, then there are no holes in the pillars where they should've been fixed to. If they don't it looks like they will squeak with stresses.
You can see my cracked dash top, but for now i think ill reassemble it and tackle it later.

There's brackets at the end that let you screw into the a pillar. You need to remove the A pillar trim to get at them.

There seem to be periods where Rover made little errors. My 69 2000TC was ordered in Arden Green, it has a trim sticker that says it's Arden Green but was delivered and still is Zircon Blue!
