heater insulation

I know the stuff Dynamat, have sold it when i was at repco.
Exceptionally good product and have seen it used in a Vauxhall Victor under the bonnet.
I was hoping to get away from the silvery colour of the foil though.

i didn't mind silvery look but as the original black insulation is there ,albeit not best state. i used the aluminium foil you get that goes behind radiators split down so using half thickness. carpet glue and smoothed on . seems to look much tidier though will replace later as black I think works better there. but this will suffice for a few moths until winter storage again when I will be replacing carpet very likely at same time.

It's made the car drivable on summer days. That and replacing the dust for foam rubber gaskets on the bulkhead and inside the heater.
