Rear brake adjustment conundrum

I finally got around to adjusting up the rear pads on the p6. Right set are fine but the left set is wonky. The discs are straight and the caliper has no rotational movement back to front but it appears to be pointed outward on the mounts as the outer pad its about 5 mil out from the disk at one end and touches the disc at the other. Only thing I can think of is the pivot is cock eyed though they were carefully torqued up before I put the diff in. All ideas are welcome!

check the outer pad has seated properly, is the back hard against the caliper? I have seen pads which have been fitted out of line with the pins and the pushed one end out a few mm.

I'll take some pictures when it stops raining... and I figure out how to get them off my samsung J1 and onto my HP pavilion. If anyone knows how please Pm me!

The pads are loosish but they are at an angle to the body of the caliper when pressed against the disk. that is the pressure face on the caliper is out of line with the disk.

If you have an email app on the phone then email them to yourself and open it on the HP.
Otherwise, save them to the MicroSD and then remove the card and use the adapter to fit it to the slot on the HP for the SD Card reader.

Problem identified! It stopped raining long enough today to get under the car. I removed the drive shaft and disc, then eyeballed the caliper and it appears quite normal to the stub axle and everything else including the inner pad. Then I noticed the outer pad...brand new but tapered in two planes not one... That is it has the usual top to bottom taper but also tapers end to end so the front end is 'new' size the rear end is 'worn out' size... GRRRRRR will contact supplier to discuss though as neither of us noticed it before i installed them the blame lies with the manufacturer for letting it out. It is obviously not used as the printing on the rear is undamaged and the pad only has the marks from when i installed it...

That's one I've not seen before, but at least easy to identify. I always put a small chamfer on the edge of the pads so I'd have noticed before I fitted them.

Hopefully.......

I nearly chamfered them but figured as the discs were new (thankyou Flynn) and i was rushing to get it done before sundown I didn't...
