Info. required with 2000TC Throttle

I have already tried them, I sent them an email with all the photos etc.

They got back to me and said that these are Rover specific parts.

I tried Wins International and they have all the parts I need, a bargain at £76 delivered.

Thats the 2nd time they have helped me with hard to find P6 parts.

Karl.

Demetris,

I have an additional favour to ask of you, one of the photos is a bit unclear and I was hoping for another shot from a different angle.

I have attached a photo of the rear carb with a red box round the part I am curious about.

It appears to be a U shaped support that cradles the throttle shaft but just rests on it.

On my carb, this U shape is actually round with a threaded hole and I am pretty sure these holes on each carb are just for the brackets that hold the heatshield in place.

I'm wondering if its just broken on yours and you happen to have rested the throttle shaft on it in the photo by accident :)

Thanks again, Karl.

Karl, i had to rest the shaft there just to take the photo, because at the moment it is not connected to coupling. As Vern already told you, this is just a support for the heat shield. That end of the shaft, is normally mounted with rubber bearing on a bracket bolted on the steering box.

Demetris,

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I've got everything I need now to fit the missing throttle components which will be here in a day or two.

Regards, Karl.

Does anyone have a P6 2000 TC downpipe, mine is rotten and just blown out 2 holes.

I now have a nice tractor :)

Thanks, Karl.
