Series 2 Kienzle clock

My clock is running very slow

I took it out today to have a look and there does not appear to be an adjusting screw on the back of it

Is this correct or is there a plug on the back that has to be removed?

Rather than tweaking the adjuster screw (unwise) you will probably find your time issue is due to drying out lubricants on the moving bearing in the mechanism causing friction and hence slower times. There are other threads on the forum here that detail some aspects of this. For clock mechanisms and bearing in general I opt to apply a very thin lubricant such as CRC226 applied using a needle directly to all the shaft bearings you can get too in liu of a full strip clean and relubricate, other times I have also used the lightest of sewing machine oils.
