The film was made in 1978, I happened to purchase a v8 coupe in 1978 for £200 ( that's 2 months salary )from a dealer. Quite a cheap film prop considering it played quite a big part in the film. A shame that you "bangered" 5 old cars but I'm sure you had fun and probably better off the road...
