Afternoon,
In this thread from 2018 there's a link to a body assembly drawing showing the P6 sill cross section. The link no longer works, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction for the source?
I downloaded a PDF from the Australian Rover Club site which is a reprint of the...
When removing my driver's side glovebox to replace some broken rivets on the hinge bar, I was reminded of the poor state of my bulkhead insulation/trim panels. Driver's side is tatty with the black card/plastic cracked in several places. Passenger side is mostly absent, leaving visible bare...
Just came across this thread - that looks like a fantastic job! Looked at the website, £600 stg for a full set of nearly Buckskin covers in a slightly too coarse grained leather, delivered to the UK.
Very very attractive compared to the cost of a bespoke retrim.

This tidy P6 with a lot of police provenance sold for £17,070 at the weekend. What do people think of that price? It seemed to me that a lot of high-end stuff wasn't meeting reserve but under-£20k cars did...

Just measured this evening with a micrometer, the original one is 5mm diameter, the modern replacement is 6mm. I could drill a bigger hole in the fuel tap arm but would prefer to get the right pin if possible.
I've broken the "trunnion" that holds the fuel reserve cable to the lever on the tap.
I ordered a replacement part no. 566902 from a Land Rover parts supplier, listed as a heater cable trunnion, but its diameter is too big to fit through the hole on my fuel tap.
Does anyone know where I...
It will probably physically fit, but you might not be able to push the front seats all the way back. My series 1 has inertia belts from a previous owner but they rub on the seats.
