Excellent advice, thank you! I won't get to check it out now for a couple of weekends, but will post back when I get to.

Ah, excellent. I will do that. I had not gotten so far as to realize the linkage was visible in the engine bay. Thanks

    Heat always on

I have just started to research possible causes for this issue, but thought I'd post here as well in case someone has a quick answer. I did search but didn't see any threads that looked like a clear match. I understand that the heater box is running all the time in the P6 normally, however, I...

    Engine mounts (4-cyl)

I’ve got a question here. I saw near the beginning of this thread that it was mentioned that putting the mount brackets on the wrong side of the car can result in it being near impossible to get the air box off. Need to replace exhaust manifold. Anything I should know?

Excellent, thank you. Yes, the brass nuts are a very good idea. I will see if I can drum up a set to fit. Thanks! Karl

Need to replace exhaust manifold. Anything I should know?

I have the service manual, so the procedure seems straightforward enough. But I'm wondering if there are any known gotchas in this job, or anything I should prepare ahead of time that is not in the manual. I will order all the gaskets and seals that I'm likely to come across in the job and...
