Hi all. My P6 has what i think too much travel in pedal. Ive fitted new disc pads at front. Inboard rear pads are not too worn. Ive bled the lines and pedal not spongy or depleting. I have just been given new WOF equivalent Mot. They assessed as compliant. And made no comment on pedal travel...

Completely acid dipped. I made and fitted hand made floors .sills. chassis runners the list goes on. Did it all myself. Including painting. Four years and a lot of hours. Probably over capitalised but who cares it was better theorpy than sitting over a pint of beer every night.

    Borg warner gear kick down.

Hi Harvey . I removed the air cleaner etc to check out linkages today. Yes they are all pretty worn. Some shafts are needing welding . I'll pop into my lathe and resize or just make new ones.Make new nylon bushes and fit should be good. I imagine all those baggy shafts add up to a slow...

    Borg warner gear kick down.

My car is dropping down a stage with hard acceleration but I have to push very hard floor and it feels a little too late if needing to pass cars. What is wrong here if anything. Is there an adjustment to make kick down more responsive. Cheers Stewart

Hi just purchased my 1972 P6 From Auckland. I'm in Wellington. I took the risk and bought site unseen and had it transported the 600km. I must admit I was expecting problems but was pleasantly surprised. It's straight as not even a ding. Original paint, seats squabs not worn, only tear at the...

what can be done to the V8

Hi all . Has anyone tried fitting twin Dellorto 40 or 45 carbs appropriately jetted, to 3500 engine. I did this to another car I own that was running twin strombergs. There was a remarkable increase in rpm response, acceleration. Fitting a set of sports header had to be done as well to get the...
