Thanks for the info. I gave the engine a good clean today ( or as much as I could in the very confined space of an MGB engine bay ) and I found a leak that I didn't know I had. It wasn't the oil leak I was looking for but there was a pool of coolant lying on top of what I presume is the valley...

I've recently acquired an MGB roadster with a Rover 3.5 V8 engine from an SD1 and I am trying to find out what year of car the engine is from. The engine number is 10A36651 with a 9.35:1 Comp. Ratio. Can anyone point me in the direction of a website where I can get this information. Thanks. Ian.
