Hello - just joined with an unusual project.

I know it looks like the Forth Road Bridge, but the design is so I can mount a travelling trunk and spare wheels, as well as boxing in the petrol tank. Will all look OK when pretty bodywork is in place - and bloody strong as well. Huge welding day tomoz, as only tack welds so far.

Back on the case. After getting more steel, today was spent mounting the horns and siren, finishing the bonnet supports, and starting the dash, checking to get the best angle for vision and steering wheel clearance.Oh yes, and getting a quote for the headlight resilvering, etc, about 600 quid.

5 speed Tremec to go behind a Rover V8

On ebay tonight I am listing mt Tremec 5 speed and rebuilt 3.5. Well, here is an unusual combination for you. A rebuilt Rover 3.5 V8 with a Ford Mustang T45 Tremec 5 speed. Selling the whole lot as one. As many people know, the SD1 box is OK, but will not handle over 400 bhp out of the box...

    Mating a Rover V8 to Tremec t45

Well, somebody had to give it a go. Rover and Mustang both 10.5 inch clutch plate. Tremec good for at least 400bhp. Made a mistake woth the Rover bellhousing, so will buy another off ebay - 15 quid, Should be a very butch setup when completed.
