    Oil Sump Pan Removal

It is indeed an automatic , so I suspect I’ll have to remove the exhaust pipes. Do you rember what tool you used for the bolts above the crossmber- socket or wrench (spanner)? I do have torquing specifications for this car.

    Oil Sump Pan Removal

All: Re: 1972 3500 ( Left Hand Steering) I would appreciate input into the following questions regarding removing the oil sump pan: 1. Do the exhaust pipes need to be removed prior, or, can the sump pan be coaxed out once the pan bolts are removed without so doing? 2. What’s the best way to...

    External Gearbox Linkage Access

Harvey!! I thought you had had enough of me and decided to retire from fixing my P6! Since you are up for more abuse, that is exactly what I need. There is play at the compensator. I need to find out if there is wear, or breakage or whatever. If I understand your reply correctly, I'll...

    External Gearbox Linkage Access

I would appreciate any advice/suggestions on the best way to access the external gear linkage for a 72 3500 automatic (BW-35). I can see that the exhaust downpipe will need to come out. I'm hoping that the crossmember does not have to be removed as well. Any ideas on accomplishing this task...
