Hi All. A fellow P6 owner needs a boot stay, I have one that I am giving him. He has all the brackets fitted but the spare rod I have needs the plastic retainer. Does anyone out there have such a thing that they are willing to part with. Regards.

Hi all. Hope you all have had a good Christmas. I am looking for a replacement roof panel, my vinyl one is beginning to bubble. I can find plenty of vinyl supplies but the actual panel is becoming elusive. I dont have a garage and use my car daily so hence the need for a swap item. Cheers Dean.

Thanks for tha advice, completed the task successfully although the heater was not very warm. Checked everything this weekend to find that i had damaged the main heater linkage and the air vent was not opening. Manually opened the vent and will now leave till better weather. The upside is that...

Quick update. Whilst driving to my better halfs the ign. Lamp began to flicker roughly intime with me reving the engine so.... 1.Is it safe to assume the wiring is good. 2.that the altenator is shot. Answers on a postcard please.

If i need to replace the altenator is it best to go for the 18ac 3500 version for my 2200. Bearing in mind i live in scotland, do regular short journeys and its heavy to push start.

Ok. Fixed the brake light issue.... handbrake was slightly loose and needed tightening. Result. Checked the lamps and wiring behind the speedo and all looks good and others working fine. Checked with regards to the wiring diagram in Haynes.... leaves alot to be desired does the diagram. Got...

Good luck on fitting yours MrTask. You are welcome to this one as I managed to get one. As mentioned in a previous post these things are very fragile and brittle. I have not sourced replacement clips yet so if you find a good replacement then let me know.
