    Boot lid support.

Hi All. A fellow P6 owner needs a boot stay, I have one that I am giving him. He has all the brackets fitted but the spare rod I have needs the plastic retainer. Does anyone out there have such a thing that they are willing to part with. Regards.

    Replacement Roof panel.

Hi all. Hope you all have had a good Christmas. I am looking for a replacement roof panel, my vinyl one is beginning to bubble. I can find plenty of vinyl supplies but the actual panel is becoming elusive. I dont have a garage and use my car daily so hence the need for a swap item. Cheers Dean.

    What altenator??

Ok taking a previous post on a different direction. Trying to identify my alternator. 1975 2200Sc. There are no markings or legible labels. My Haynes manual claims it is an 11AC. I have looked under bonnet and drivers glove box and can't find any relay or 3AC unit. The wiring loom near the...

    Brake and Ign warning lights.

Talking of a wiring diagram. Is there such a thing for a 1975 2200SC RHD with pre engaged starter. If so where is it, as it isnt in any of the Haynes manuals i have and the supplement is for TC models. The Haynes manual which i grew up on thinking they were the Bees knees i must admit are...

Quick update. Whilst driving to my better halfs the ign. Lamp began to flicker roughly intime with me reving the engine so.... 1.Is it safe to assume the wiring is good. 2.that the altenator is shot. Answers on a postcard please.

    Brake and Ign warning lights.

If i need to replace the altenator is it best to go for the 18ac 3500 version for my 2200. Bearing in mind i live in scotland, do regular short journeys and its heavy to push start.

Ok. Fixed the brake light issue.... handbrake was slightly loose and needed tightening. Result. Checked the lamps and wiring behind the speedo and all looks good and others working fine. Checked with regards to the wiring diagram in Haynes.... leaves alot to be desired does the diagram. Got...

    Brake and Ign warning lights.

Todays job was to look at refitting a tacho into my 1975 2200SC. It used to have one many years ago as it is featured in a classic car mag and clearly seen in the photo. Step one remove speedo....tick Care note taken to wiring, and took lamp cluster off to limit cross wiring. Step two locate...

    Central gear stick console.

Good luck on fitting yours MrTask. You are welcome to this one as I managed to get one. As mentioned in a previous post these things are very fragile and brittle. I have not sourced replacement clips yet so if you find a good replacement then let me know.
