Headlamps Main beams

I am after decent main beams headlamps, ideally Cibie as per factory fit as the ones currently on the car are in such a bad way due to the reflective chrome having dropped off. I've looked at a few suppliers which offer Lucas. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Thanking anyone in advance.
Best regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Referring to Graham's post above, just be aware that the use of Hella pencil beam lights (highbeams) are illegal in Europe. The packaging for the 100W bulbs have carried this information for a good 30 years now. I don't know if that equally applies to the U.K :hmm:

Ron.

Thank you for your reply. I find some confusion on this subject especially when most modern cars use the very bright white halogen lights which to be blunt are dangerous as they are blinding. Also some drivers driving with the blue LED lights just for effect...Why?

For the same reason they lower their cars almost to the ground.. or fit spacers to set their rear wheels at a 30 degree angle to the rest of the car.. because they think it's cool and they know better than the people who designed and built their cars.
