Oh dear....

"Very rare car not saw one before " - because someone has hacksawed the roof off?

Seems a bit expensive to me

I've seen that advertised before, it didn't sell then, and I doubt that it will sell now. Not for that kind of money anyway.

Agree with the "Oh Dear"
Apart from all the obvious work needed, would it have any structural rigidity?

Goodness, as Darryl Kerrigan would say "tell im he's dreamin"

Losing the roof and the contribution that it would make to the car's overall rigidity would not be a positive outcome. It would certainly in my mind compromise its serviceability, which affects ride comfort, handling and braking. With a less rigid body, the imposed forces will be felt in areas that they have not been designed for. Sims metal is the best place for it now.

I have seen that one before! It was under a very torn cover out the back of where I get my MOT's done back in 2013 in Bristol. The garage owner said it was a half finished project but was a solid car....then!

It just disappeared and I never asked where it went. It was there with the cover torn for some time so I had assumed it was scrapped!!

It was up for sale at Beaulieu for about £6k around that time. Looked in much better condition than it does now.

As I recall the whole thing looked like a bit of a bodge job. Just a hacksaw job with no real thought. If I was going to do it I would at least work out how to make it a two door! Having said all that, it does have studs all around for a tonneau or a hood so I guess it must have been on the road at some point?

According to DVLA records it failed it's last MOT on 4th June 2013. Amusingly, one of the failure points was " Steering wheel in a condition likely to injure the driver's hand"!!!
