Starter Earth

Can anyone tell me if the starter motor on a 2200tc has a separate earth cable (if it does presumably black-no tracer) where it should connect too or does the starter simply rely on earth contact through its own fastenings. Thanks

Earths throough body of starter . No wire
 
Cheers gents, rapid response as usual, bit slow there H!! Noticed the earth braid on mine runs from the drivers side of the engine to the bolt holding the servo to its bracket, cant see this making a difference but probably not ideal.
 
The earth braid should run from under one of the RH engine mount brackets to one of the bolts securing the rubber engine mount on that side, not to the servo bracket.
