2000 engine swap

I have a 1964 2000 (manual) with knackered engine. I also have a scrap 1971 p6 2000 sc whole auto car with good engine. Will I be able to install the auto engine into the manual car (and keep it a manual) if I swap the torque converter, for the flywheel/clutch? Are the crank and gearbox input shafts the same? Any other issues? I know there will be alternator/dynamo and positive/negative earth issues but will it be possible?

Yes it's possible, and pretty easy. There was another thread asking the same question very recently. The most important thing to change in addition to what you have mentioned, is the spigot bearing, and soak that in oil before you fit it, and check the running clearance.
